Lin-Paul's to Shutter Flagship Downtown Yakima Store After 40 Years in Business

 

(Yakima, WA) Lin-Paul's, Yakima's premier bridal, tuxedo, and formal wear clothing store, is closing its flagship downtown Yakima store. The last day of operation is Oct. 15, 2024.  

 

The family-owned business has resided at this location since the early 1980s. "My family and I opened the store when I was just a teenager," says Paul Napolitano, store owner. "This store has been my entire life's work, and I'm proud of how we've been able to serve the community all these years."

 

Napolitano isn't quite ready to retire, however.  "While the retail industry has changed dramatically over the past decade because of online shopping, my men's formal wear clients still want and need one-on-one customer service."

 

As a result, Napolitano and his wife, Debbie, are opening a smaller men's formal wear store called Paul and Deb's, located at 105 S 1st St, Selah, WA 98942. "Paul and I are happy we can still offer the community these services, albeit on a much smaller scale," says Debbie. Shopping at the new store, which is open for business, is open by appointment.
